Truth be told, this is a short story about need: The need to wear those cute, sassy tops that we spend far too much money on but can't because they reveal too much nipple and areola. The need for nipple concealers that, themselves are actually concealed. The need for nipple concealers designed so naturally you forget they're on and the bare truth that not every stranger is entitled to talk to our chest!
You may think this need would be easy to fill. Well, "easy" is all about perception. It was easy to identify the niche, and easy to have the good idea. As a matter of fact, many people were chock full of ideas for us, from importing from Asia to using the existing paper that other companies use and just changing the shape. However, neither of us found any of these avenues satisfying, simply because none of them worked. We were not looking to flood the market with the same ol', trying to turn a quick buck, we were looking to fill a need.
